Chargewise Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Chargewise. By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Nature of service and important medical disclaimer
Informational tool only. Chargewise is a free lifestyle pacing and habit reminder tool designed to assist individuals in logging daily activities and self-reported energy levels.
Not medical advice. CHARGEWISE IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. THE APP IS NOT DESIGNED, INTENDED, OR CERTIFIED TO PREVENT, TREAT, DIAGNOSE, OR MITIGATE ANY DISEASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION, INCLUDING ME/CFS AND LONG COVID.
Healthcare team guidance. Chargewise is intended for use under the supervision and guidance of your qualified healthcare provider. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or logged on Chargewise.
Emergency situations. Chargewise does not monitor emergency health events. If you experience a medical emergency or severe worsening of symptoms, contact emergency services or your healthcare provider immediately.
2. Eligibility and account set-up
Age limit. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Chargewise. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Authentication. Access is managed via email magic links or passkeys. You are responsible for maintaining control over the email account used to log in.
3. Pilot and beta features
If you are participating in a pilot or beta testing phase of Chargewise, the service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued without notice.
4. Data ownership and third-party services
Your data. You retain full ownership of the data you enter into Chargewise. You may export your data as a CSV or summary at any time.
Third-Party Services. If you choose to export your data and share it with, upload it to, or paste it into any third-party service or tool, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. ANKYR+YRD LIMITED does not control, operate, or secure third-party services and accepts no liability for how third parties process your exported health data.
5. Payments and voluntary support
Chargewise is offered free of charge. Any optional financial support, "Buy Us a Coffee," or voluntary contributions made to ANKYR+YRD LIMITED are non-refundable and do not entitle the user to specialized features, medical services, or ownership rights. ANKYR+YRD LIMITED is a commercial entity and not a registered charity.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS, THE UNITED KINGDOM, THE EUROPEAN UNION, AND THE UNITED STATES:
ANKYR+YRD LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH COMPLICATIONS, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF CHARGEWISE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ANKYR+YRD LIMITED EXCEED $100 USD OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ANKYR+YRD LIMITED IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS (WHICHEVER IS LOWER).
7. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Cayman Islands.
